Suzanne Hemann, PE
Founder and Principal
Suzanne is a Coast Guard veteran, with more than 20 years of experience as a marine safety engineer. As a Coast Guard officer she's dedicated her career to the safety of our country and of our ports, she's acted as an arbitrator, and advocate for individual mariners, and the safety of thousands of passengers and crew. She now brings that to bear as she advocates for the success of her client-partners. She uses a processed-based approach to her research, and preparation for funding, recognizing and helping her client-partners see that every step in the development cycle is vital for ensuring the ongoing success and growth of an organization.
James Rizzo
Senior Consultant
James has been successful in project and grant development, acquisition, management, and completion working for the Conrad Blucher Institute for Surveying and Science since 1992. He began honing his craft as a grant writer and manager in 2005. He has raised more than $35M in grant funding to support the ongoing research of the Conrad Blucher Insititue, as well as the development of unique research project for students, from high school to Ph.D. applicants. He employs a common sense approach to all that he does, including the mentorship and leadership of others. His straightforward nature is perfect for grant writing and board development to ensure sustainability and growth of any organization.
